You can only convert pictures that you shoot right then... Irritating

I love this camera app. The pictures are really great and I would rather use this than the regular camera on the phone. I would love to have a standard color camera from these guys as well

Should be a free application. Its not super good to be worth a 1$.

I thought it was free like the red and green are and downloaded it without thingking damnit

Absolutely worth the asking price... I am an avid amateur photographer ( my stuff will never make the cover of time ) but for the asking price... I have pictures of my kids that i have done w/ this app that takes the breath away of many of my friends.. Great buy! Awesome app! Good job guys!

I wish you could use pictures that you have already taken. The app only works with pictures that you take in the app itself. Also, you should make a sepia app. That would round out the collection.

This used to be a great app but it doesnt work with the OS 3.0 upgrade!

I have a new 3GS and it now crashes every time I use it. I can get one shot off and then it must reload. It worked fine on my 3G.  No updates for a year? How about supporting your users? It crashes on the 3GS!!!

Simple, to the point.. Does what its supposed to.. Pics come out clear.. Im glad I got the app for free!!

Very simple, which is part of the magic. Lets you flex your artsy side and practice your composition. It might be nice if it could save the original to the film roll as well. Also, since the cancel button just quits the app, it could instead take you to a viewer of the pix youve taken. Needs an update; crashes a lot now. Would be nice to have the option of saving the original as well.

This one is an instant classic in my photo "bag." First several shots were flawless; now Im hooked.

One of my all time favorite photo apps for my iPhone.

Before, I spent ages tweaking the contrast and levels of my B&W iPhone photos in other apps, but now I turn to Vint B&W for instant output of a crisp, perfectly balanced image. Thank you for this simply great app!

You combined all of the Vint apps into one, with the feature of editing pictures in your photo library. But i love these :]

Like other reviews: You cant B&W photos in your library, and you have no controls over the process. Im sure there are better programs out there. Or, like they say "you get what you pay for". Hopefully future versions will have more options.

Its a cool idea but it crashes 2 out of 3 times I try and use it, even after a reboot. It would also be nice to have filter options (Red Especialy)

I really like the app and the FREE price makes it better! My only complaint is the "processing" time takes a few seconds so you cant take multiple pix rapidly. I also think it would be cool if the display was in b&w

This really is the best app for black and white shots for the iphone. The tones and contrast are spot on. PRobably one of my most used camera apps on the iphone. I emailed the creator of the app and he made mention of possibly creating a Vint B/W pro that will do processing from the camera roll. So if you read this you should send along an email requesting the same thing. Let him know if He builds it, they will come. - Dustin Tash

If you could only have one B&W app in your bag, this would be the one to go for. It captures all the nuance and texture of classic B&W film. As other reviewers have noted, simplicity is the essence of this apps charm. Like a old-fashioned camera, it takes one kind of picture very well. Other apps give you all kinds of control over the finished product; this one just gives you an image that is almost guaranteed to be a keeper.
